We are so excited to introduce our Laguna Beach Iconic Ornament for 2023. You’ve probably passed the Greeter statue in front of The Old Pottery Place many times in Laguna. This iconic statue has stood on this corner since the 1960’s celebrating the life of Eiler Larsen, who came to Laguna Beach in the 1930’s.  Eiler Larsen made this artist colony his “Greeting Corner” of the world giving all a friendly wave, a booming “Helloo-oo” and warm smile.  He became known as Laguna’s Official Greeter and was granted this status by the mayor in 1963.

We hope you love the Greeter statue as much as we do.  We know it’s an Iconic symbol of Laguna Beach.
